As a Licensed Optician at Direkt Optik, you are the heart of our business. Your ability to be responsive to each customer's unique needs is crucial to ensure the absolute best experience. Your main responsibility as a Licensed Optician involves performing vision examinations at a high clinical level and prescribing tailored visual aids, with the goal of offering each customer the most optimal solution.

At Direkt Optik, you work in harmony with the Store Manager, Salespeople, and Optician Assistants to build long-term customer relationships.

Direkt Optik is part of Nexeye, a successful and ambitious group of retail companies that today consists of three affordable optical brands operating in five European countries.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vision and contact lens examinations;
• Detect abnormalities in the eye and refer customers to ophthalmologists when necessary;
• Inform your customers about the best-suited glasses and frames for their strengths, how to use contact lenses, and conduct follow-up checks when needed;
• Provide the best possible customer service, so that our customers look forward to their next meeting with us
• Be an ambassador for DirektOptik's goal to live by our core values Your Vision - Our Strength

Requirements for the position

• Licensed optician, regardless of whether you have a DO/master's degree or not.
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly value the personal interaction with the customer and strive to build long-term relationships

As an optician, you spend most of your working hours with patients, which is why we place great emphasis on the ability to build good relationships and inspire trust. Additionally, we prefer you to be social, service-oriented, educational, and proactive. Since the work is clinical, it requires being structured, detail-oriented, and very meticulous.
